The clinic is located in rural Lower Saxony, in the north of Germany, in a relatively quiet yet highly accessible residential area.

The Christian Hospital Quakenbrück (CKQ) is an efficient and innovative hospital network across two locations (Quakenbrück and the St. Anna Klinik Löningen), with 571 beds including 24 day-clinic places. A total of eight companies belong to the CKQ group, including service and subsidiary companies, senior residential facilities, and a large education center. It is an ecumenical institution, supported by holding companies under civil law of the Protestant and Catholic parishes in the region.

Every year, the hospital group treats approximately 20,000 inpatients and 80,000 outpatients. Patients benefit from a broad specialization and the high level of differentiation within its medical spectrum, as well as its interdisciplinary orientation. The CKQ is an academic teaching hospital of the University of Oldenburg and the Medical School Groningen. With over 1,600 employees and 200 trainees, the CKQ is the largest employer in the region.
