For years, severe spinal pain dictated every part of my life. Each day became harder to face, and every doctor I saw in Canada warned that the treatments available might only make things worse. Eventually, I stopped believing that real relief was possible.
That changed on January 25th, 2008. I travelled to Germany for lumbar disc replacement surgery, and the results were truly life‑altering. Within seven weeks, the debilitating pre‑operative pain that once controlled my life was gone.
In 2015, I returned to Germany for cervical disc replacements at C5–C6 and C6–C7 an option that was not available to me in Canada. Once again, the surgery was a complete success, giving me the ability to live without constant pain.
I am deeply grateful to ENANDE, the German medical team and everyone who supported me throughout this journey. Because of them, hope is no longer something I used to have, it’s something I live with every day. I share my story, so others know that disc replacement options do exist, and that meaningful, lasting relief is possible.
In 2012, I had the honor of joining the ENANDE team. Today, I’m here to support anyone seeking answers, guidance, or simply someone who understands what they’re going through.
